I wonder how much Samura there is in Shira...or vice versa.

I always thought that scene with Shira and the prostitute on the road had a highly disturbing blend of repulsiveness and erotica. Was very strange to see the almost loving detail he put into that scene. Then again, that's why it's one of the most memorable ones, and the one that made Shira unforgettable.

yeah, but what's the point of taking a risk for the sake of taking a risk other than trying to be indecisive?

    Indeed, it's not. It's also not OP-humor.

Yes...a big difference in votes, based primarily on emotions, no doubt. But easily remediated if I use reverse psychology next month. :LOS

When logic isn't the guiding factor, one is easily manipulated and swayed by irratic blind spots in their emotional rollercoaster, after all.

And you can't disown me! :pek Logic is my main property after all, and not many here could claim that possession for themselves. :hmpf

Luckily you have some exceptions, like SAF. :)

You're using logic and rational reasoning, SAF; it's largely wasted upon most here, so don't bother.

Some just can't differentiate between a logical conclusion and a personal opinion based on conjecture.

And thanks to that (together with Togashi) you've learned to have extreme patience and at least became aware of the concept 'logic', even though you still didn't grasp it on an applicable level.

    :zaru

Nothing but good things have befallen you, and yet you still act as ingrats! :(

But no worries; another few years and you'll learn it... :evil

Maybe your family feels sorry for you! :wink

Thanks! It wasn't a popularity-contest of posters, though. It's ironic that, even though the January Motm didn't make it, they show themselves to be such sour winners. Neby this, Neby that...but deep down they know taking an additional risk and gaining nothing in return for taking that extra risk is not logical at all, it's just stupid.

LOLZ. Pretty neat. Killua is basically right, though. You can't just keep mass-murderers on the street. Of course, it may be that they'll be sentenced and imprisoned, which would remove the thread for society too. But if it was killing mass-murderess or letting them roam the streets and kill again, than yeah, I'm 100% with Killua: kill those bastards when you have the chance.

Pfff...paying lipservice as a symbolic act doesn't really count to show to which manga your loyalities are. :hmpf

    There, fixed! :zaru

It makes for a wonderful tragicomic comment too! :laugh

Yes, that's the fine logical reasoning in a nutshell. "Let's waste our chances in January, because it is possible we might get chapters in February too."

    :facepalm

Well, anyway - as some of you seem to be pissed off by my remarks, I'm at least as pissed off by your appeal to skip over January which does not make sense, rest assured - but I'm not the one to become erratic over it (I wouldn't have started to make snide remarks about anyones' family, for instance). The January Motm is unlikely to pass, so we'll just have to concentrate on February. If I was more irrational, I would - just as some did now - not vote, or vote for another manga in February, based on emotions, but that's basically illogical. Nothing really changed about having lost an excellent opportunity, and that that was a bad call, even if we get it in February. (I'll GWoT to death those that were calling for a February-only vote, if we don't get it next month, though ;33).

A true fan just votes for his favourite manga/anime when he gets the chance and the choice to do so, it's as simple as that. Even hgfds and you felt that you were doing the wrong thing, otherwise you wouldn't have voted or even re-cast your vote back to HxH. If it all didn't matter, like you said, you wouldn't have bothered to do so in the first place. The fact you only do it after it's clear it can't win anymore, is further prove of the irrational thinkingprocess you used; if you felt HxH deserved to be the Manga of the Month, you should have voted so from the start, if you felt it didn't deserve it, you shouldn't do it afterwards neither.

Now you're just voting to have a good feeling to/for yourself about it. It has nothing to do with logic, even though you always seem to think I'm wrong in making that assessment. But it's as plain as daylight.

Why do you have to count? BoTI wins even without the votes that were changed from HxH to Boti.

Dupes and members with less than 100 posts aren't eligible to vote.

I think he means: to check for dupes. According to the new rules, voters have to have 100 posts to be valid, etc.

It would surprise me that Boti would have that many unvalid ones, but I think he wants to do it properly.

Krizma, I'm way disappointed in you!

If we don't get Febraury as well, I'll GWoT you to death too, just like chikky! :notrust

All I have to do is go through the BOTI votes. If the official count still remains more than HxH then there's no reason to bother validating HxH or Soul Eater.

I don't think you have to bother about the SE votes either way. Also, remember, Hiro changed her own vote herself.

Even without factoring the changed votes, BOTI lands a hug victory.

79 out of 88 Votes-validated, more than enough to beat HxH.

The gap would have been much larger had I started validating the HxH votes.
