Why use an early version of Deku when current Deku vs MCU Spider-Man would be a much closer match. Though Peter still has a massive speed advantage over Izuku? :notrust

Assuming it is current Midoriya then who wins?

The big issue for Deku is the speed, the most MHA has is a supersonic feat by All Might whereas MCU characters are well into the hypersonic speed range.

On the other hand, Deku is able to throw around MCB level 100% punches with large shockwaves (making it more difficult to dogde) and only suffer broken bones in the recoil so he should have the destructive and durability advantage over MCU Peter. Hell he was able to throw three with the same arm in the Muscular fight.

I'm not sure, speed and webbing may secure the win for Peter but it shouldn't be an easy fight either. IF Deku actually tags Peter with a 100% punch though, then Deku wins.

How far into MCB is Deku, anyway?

Pete no-sold a hit from Bucky's arm. The same arm that can damage and overpower Tony.

Don't know, his 100% punches are stronger than Todoroki's ice (which is where the MCB feat comes from)

Pretty much everyone not named T'challa was holding back during the airport fight. Whereas Bucky was fighting for his life against Iron Man. And Tony flatout stated Cap could have laid Peter out if he wanted to. Don't think you can scale Peter to the arm just for catching a casual punch.

Bucky is everyone's target. He has just as much reason to go full-throttle as Panther because Panther is going full throttle after him. Everyone not on team Cap wants Bucky arrested or dead. That is some pretty serious motivation to GTFO.

Also, it wasn't just a punch. Pete actively forces Bucky's arm down with zero effort. That's not even considering the basic scaling Spidey = or > Webbing > Supersoliders.

Cap also countered a massive web-swing kick with a flying spin-kick, and Pete shook the hit off. Even if both of them were holding back, the combined force there is gonna be comparable to a more standard blow. At least, one would think.

Speaking of web-swing kicks; Pete and Vision are the only people to land meaningful hits on Ant-Man in that scene. It's basically a Hulk/Surtr situation for Pete. Still, his and Vision's hits are clearly felt. Plus, Pete does take that slap as Ant-Man goes down.

I know Tony benches Pete after all that, but he was fine. Just a bit winded. Hell, Pete has more visible damage from Cap than from Ant-Man, at the end of the film. Referring to his fucked-up face, Pete says that he got beat up by a guy named "Steve" who was "[...]from Brooklyn". He only mentions Steve's "huge" friend in a passing reference to exactly how large this friend was.
