I was wondering, does anybody know a program out there that can support me in recording, that will be more than 60 secs [unlike Windows pre-programed recording program], and could last atleast 10 minutes, like in a studio recording? Thank you.

There are loads of programmes you can use. I'll give you a least.
    -Adobe Audition
    -Sony Acid Pro
    -Sonar

    One of them should do.

I had some training in Soundforge a few years ago that was very easy to use. Don't know what's become of it now though.

Can I ask why? Anyways here it is this program I just found a few days ago. It is really pretty good and there are a bunch of programs that go with it to convert your WAV files to MP3 or whatever options they give you and a burning software and CD ripping software too. All free, if you get the basic version. :)

dimez, the 60 second default maximum recording time of the Windows sound recorder utility can be increased as much as you need. Take a look.

It works under Windows XP too, and I don't think 2-3 clicks are a lot of work, especially if the person didn't even bother looking for another program.
