Keiji Inafune is finally replacing rebuilding his son.
New Mechanics you say?
You still jump like MegaMan.
Why does he have a jock strap?
Design is ugly, not feeling it.
So he's a knock off of a knock off?
....My god....I can't stop the tears!
...Wow somebody already donated $10,000 to the project and dinner with Inafune already?
oh FUCK ME YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!1111
they already have 200,000K+ is less than 24 hours lol!!
I'll give them $20 bucks for sure.
That's interesting. Turning into different machines to perform tasks.
I already put my donation through.
It'll definitely make it's goal.
$366,050 in the first 24 hours so far. Like 5 hours ago it was 215,000 k. This is def gonna make all stretch goals. We're gonna get 9 stages plus new game plus, turbo mode and console release!! fuck yea!!!
I never knew all you had to do was donate your money to teams to come up with cool ideas like this!!!
yeah, kickstarter is like one of the best inventions ever.
I wonder if anyone donated $10,000 yet.
Seeing as the prize for doing that is dinner with Keiji Inafune.
I wonder why Keiji Inafune didn't put up a vote for 2d or 3d character models. Those 2d handdrawn sprites look freaking beautiful. I don't want them replaced by 3d models, unless they do something like Guilty Gear Xrd.
One person already did.
Geezus, half a million donated in one day!
5000 bucks was given between the 6 minutes it took to watch Inafune's e-begging video! Its goin' down.
lol I wish I could afford to casually give $10,000 to Kickstarter projects
Tell me about it.
something something megaman is dead
Where were all these people when Megaman Legends 3 was announced? If Capcom saw all this support they wouldn't have cancelled the game.
The demo for MML3 never left Japan, and a lot of people who were mad about MML3 being canned were just jumping on the bandwagon.
I own MML 1 & 2, and Misadventures of Tron Bonne. I was livid. I had no reason to buy the 3DS.
Good to see more Japanese developers utilizing Kickstarter.
As for the game itself, it's good to see Megaman is back. While this is being marketed as a new IP, you cannot convince me this isn't Megaman. Just look at it.
Megaman is back.
doubt capcom would stand for it
oh wow. Over 550k already? O_o
I've no doubts that Capcom will try to fuck this up. Their hatred of Megaman burns with the intensity of a thousand supernovas. Can only hope these devs don't make the game too visually/mechanically similar to Megaman. The new features could distance them from that IP.
Then again, it's not like Capcom owns the right to all side-scrolling platformers. A few tweaks here and there should keep these devs in the clear.
