Could be perspective, but he doesn't look like a midget compared to All Might anymore.

All Might is over seven feet tall. Let's not even mention that freak of nature. I'm hoping that Deku gets at least taller than Nana. I mean, c'mon!

Shit, I'll settle for Deku reaching Iida's height, 5'10".

Well, I was talking about when he fully matures. As for breaking hymens, he still has about fifteen years before he becomes a wizard, so we should save the shame. :bookerskully

Speaking of which, how old exactly should he be by now? 16?

Nah. Deku will grow taller, but he doesn't have to break six feet! Most guys (at least in around here average 5'10") Deku strikes me as a smaller guy so I'm thinking 5'8" as his maximum and still taller than most ladies.
Not necessarily. My daughter has actually preferred shorter guys in the past (now she's not so picky).

    :thumbsup

    Who knows!

I don't hide my fandom: Have both a Deku and a large Naruto key chain on my purse! And I frequently wear my Naruto and Deku shirts! :suave I actually run into other fans that way--half of the local Office Depot employees appear to be anime/manga fans!

I stopped reading right here. I said it's something I hope for, just something I want. Disagree if you want, but don't try to frame my comment as saying it's something Deku has to do.

Why get your shorts in a knot? :huh I was simply saying that it wasn't a necessity for Deku to reach 6'. Had nothing to do with trying to frame your comment--I was simply making a comment of my own.

And who are you informing that it isn't a necessity?

No one inparticular--I was just putting in my two cents. :mlpshrug I don't mind Deku being a bit shorter--I think he's a cute little guy.

I think you should be sent to bed without supper! :granny

Riiiiiight. I love when I point out how a person is wrong, they fall back on "But I was just giving my opinion." Okay, lemme explain so I don't seem like a hair-trigger poster. I was commenting on something I'd like to see, effectively giving my opinion. To this, you said, "Nah. Deku will grow taller, but he doesn't have to break six feet!" as if you were correcting me on a misguided impression. You were not giving your "two cents" here. You were not just disagreeing and presenting what you'd like.

For example, since this is a topic in another thread. Say I was to state that I want Bakugo and Kirishima to get together, and you come and say "Nah. They'll have a good friendship, but Horikoshi doesn't have to make them gay." You didn't actually give me your opinion. You passed off your opinion as fact. Obviously, Bakugou and Kirishima don't have to get together, obviously Deku doesn't have to break six feet. That's BESIDE the point. Like...180-degrees from the point.

Perhaps I should have given you that question earlier to make you rethink how you worded your response. Because c'mon, "No one in particular"? :catskully Nooo, you realized you fucked up in how you presented your opinion (even after I pointed it out once). Cause had you said that you were telling me that it wasn't a necessity, my immediate response would have been "I never said it was," thus justifying my first response to you. You saw that coming and backpedaled.

I didn't get knotted shorts, but I do have a point with most of what I say.

    Soooo

I looks like phase 1 of the exam is going to end on the 11th, so if you give the second phase 2-3 episodes and the the inevitable Izuku baku fight is 1-2. that still leaves 2-3 episodes left...

Looks like we'll be seeing Kirishima and Bakugo turned into meatballs soon. One of the grossest quirks out there!
    Spoiler: Tayimus
Hey, I'm not going to fight with you (since I wasn't trying to in the first place). Just telling you that I was not aiming my comments at you as some kind of attack or correction. I'm sorry if you got that impression. In debates I am always careful to add imo, however I hardly considered this a debate and was just expressing my thoughts on the necessity for Deku to get taller. I had no idea that the way that I expressed my opinion would be taken so seriously or perceived as a personal attack.:sadpanda

Seriously though you seem a little triggered espicially after writing that wall of text XD. Not that serious. I will send you that cookie

I didn't get triggered. I just don't entertain someone when they present their opinion incorrectly, as Soulfire did. But my explanation doesn't matter since it's "not that serious". Yeah, I ignore criticisms that don't actually explain how I'm wrong. :quite

@SoulFire!, your response to my pointing out how you framed your opinion was filled with strawmans. :facepalm If you can't logically tell me how I'm wrong, just ignore me. :catskully

Maybe you did maybe you didn't.

Im just saying thats the impression i got. Saying your not triggered and going on a rant about it doesn't help the notion either. If anything it makes me think your more triggered tbh

I read this as, "Oh man, he made a lot of sense in everything he said, but I have to say something, so I'm still gonna say his feelings were hurt despite objective reality."

Carry on, my friend. The cookie tastes good.
