The I listed above has a translated transcript of all of the Naruto radio episodes done so far. Right now, the only place on the web that I know of is hosting episodes 5,6,18,19,31,32 which you can get from here. Right click on those files and save as. They are about 20MB each. Also the livejournal user has requested you to kindly leave comments if you download. She takes down her audio links periodically, so get it before they're gone.

ps: in case you didn't know by now, Naruto is voiced by a female. ;)

It's not uncommon for women to do boys and sometimes young mens voices.

    Sounds like an interesting show.

You never saw the Special with Naruto the Movie?

Besides, she remake's her voice, so its obvious you can't guess its a female ;) - None the less, she does a excellent job.

Yeah. Practically all boys are done by female seiyuus.. and some young men. They tend to play the outgoing/loud type.

Paku Romi voices Ed from FMA.. she's also Temari.

I kinda figured it was a girl, during that Naruto Movie special, it was shown that the voice actor was a girl and I wasn't suprised... because I was watching One Piece before Naruto and the main guy from One Piece is done by a girl also.

    Have you ever heard of:

Oh! NARUTO Nippon! is a weekly radio show in Japan, hosted by Takeuchi Junko, the voice actress of Uzumaki Naruto in the anime series. It's aired since 2003 at 'Radio Oosaka' & 'Bunka Housou', two japanese radio stations. Every month, the seiyuu of a NARUTO character will co-host the show. Each radio program is about 20 minutes.

    Take The Quiz Yourself!

I found this when I was looking for some pictures of the seiyuu of the series.
Course it's only something for hardcore Naruto fans, when you don't speak japanese that is ;-)
But man, they talk faaast! Thank god some of the shows are translated. But even with the translation it's almost impossible to keep up with their chatter. So if you can honestly say you understand a word they are saying without being a native, then you can state, without having to be modest, that your japanese is GOOD!

    Cheerz!

    :-Daniel

Ah, and to anyone who knows the radio show: do you happen to have the show with Orochimaru's seiyuu? I desperately need that one, gotta love that voice!

I love the show even if, unfortunately, I can understand only about the 5% of it not knowing the JP language. :(

I just bought the first two CDs few days ago from play-asia.com, the second one has Orochimaru's seiyuu!

P.S. My favourite voice actors are Takeuchi Junko (Naruto), Akira Ishida (Gaara), Kujira (Orochimaru), Shoutarou Morikubo (Shikamaru) and Romi Paku (Temari...and Ed in FMA! :tem )

Haha, I enjoyed listening to those two shows. It was better after that person, in the comments section of the Livejournal page, posted links to translations of them though.:tem

It was hilarious listening to Akira Ishida and Junko Takeuichi goofing around on air.:p It was very funny when it came time for the impressions, or Henge no jutsu.;) It was very entertaining overall. I'll definitely be following the rest of these radio sessions.:amuse

Yes, I listened to that one too. It wasn't as funny as the second one, but Ishida-san still makes it enjoyable to listen to.:amuse He's very funny when the situation calls for it, but he's very reserved when people meet him outside of work.:D Junko-san calls him out on this in nearly all of the shows.:p

Anyway those two seem to really get along (it's even more evident during the second Ishida-san' turns, this summer, as... ManPa of the show! ^^ )

Anyway, did you know that Akira Ishida is one of the most loved voice actors in Japan? Not only for his role as Gaara in Naruto, but even more for his role as Athrun Zala in Gundam Seed.
I would like to see this anime, I'm curious to hear him doing another voice...

Anyway, here you can find lots of info about him:
    . Enjoy! :tem

Well, you can always check the rotation on the website, instead of waiting for them in the LJ (next year rotation schedule should keep you quite busy... ^^).

Ah, such is true. I totally forgot about that. Thanks for pointing that out for me again. I think I took a mental note to revisit the site and download certain shows next year, but mehh. Who ever remembers mental notes?

Have you guys checked out the downloads under "The Show"? There's some good crap in there, yo. Like everyone oiroke no jutsu-ing and henge-ing and some of them even singing desu ka? Good times, good times.
