I loved the new style for the opening. Still watching the raw, but I like it so far.
They should have covered more in this 2 episodes...
Those episodes were ok, nothing special, I really hope they will improve and start covering more chapters than adding fillers all the time
DHURRR WHERE BE TEH SUBZ?!!?!
Wow i really thought they could atleast do Kankurou vs Sasori in these episodes.
aaww, it kinda made me sad when naruto sneezed and the egg fell and broke. :/ because that might be warning naruto that gaara's in danger.
I was hoping for it, but I knew already how it would happen.
thanks to the shitty Shippuden pace anyway.
Woo! Edited opening!
I like the new animations for the opening, looks much flashier than before
oh gawd the music in kank v saso is so tense and scary lol
im starting to like it!
i also liked the edited intro 8) mmm those crows and sakura's silhouettes reveals so much 8)
too bad no ep next week again ><
I'm not a fan of youtube quality. I can't wait until someone gets the raw up for download.
20 minutes of Gaara and Deidara dragging the fight out and another 20 minutes of Kankuro chasing Sasori and Deidara.
How the hell is it on Youtube before Saiyaman?
That happened during the first few episodes too. Something about people encoding it from TV themself and uploading it to Youtube that way. I think that's how it works, at least.
There are other terms you can use.
Crows in th3 opening!
You know what's also very boring? Your comments.
^ Don't waste your time on Emery, its his game to wind people up.
Let it be what must be
However, he's not entirely wrong about this episode, but no need to be such a buzzkill.
However, I really enjoyed this episode, twas cool. Just wish I would move that little bit faster
It's not like you have to read them.
Though I have to agree with Emery. This episode stretched out every little scene they could.
For you who have seen it: How is the animation? Is it still bad? Is it even worse?
The screencaps look great, it seems we'll have some fight scenes coming up aswell.
The animation is cool, its just that they streched the scenes too much for this episodes
I kinda had the feeling the episode would be stretched. So the animation is better than before?
Why, why, why did they have to insert those traps and false tracks from Akatsuki? The ballista filler, while it looked pretty stupid (they're superhuman ninjas lol) at least didn't break anything. I can't explain it due to being spoilers, but the traps and false tracks contradicts some other stuff that's actually pretty important. They could have used more Konoha filler or whatever instead.
From what I've seen so far, episode 6's art/animation looks fairly average.
Episode 6 wasn't that great in case of animation AND art but 7 was very nice ^^
Episode 6 is average filler-ish stuff. Some scenes look really poor.
Episode 7 though, is a bit better. It starts off with great animation.
I think they're teaching us how to be patient ..
ep7 had better animation than ep6 ..
Pretty decent episode if I say so myself. Though the trend of dragging it out too much continued to the point where Deidara VS Gaara overall felt more like a staring contest rather than a fight.
Personally i'd prefer it if they were to use 2 or so manga chapters per episode and then just insert filler arcs in between the cannon material.
Oh and I really enjoyed the subtle changes to the opening sequence.. Well that's my two cents..
Ohhh.. what do the ballistas (ballistae?) contradict???? Perhaps PM it to me if it's a spoiler, just to keep the section clean.
What bugs me most (besides the pace) is the fact that it's already daytime. Night time does NOT pass that quick... and I doubt Gaara faught Deidara for hours and the Kankurou's chase took the rest of the night.... unless it's like antarctica where the Sand Village is in just the right part of the world to have a very short night depending on what time of year it is.
I kind of didn't mind those little moments we might consider to be 'pointless'... Naruto entering his home... I quite liked it, it made the episode feel so much more homely and now I'm already starting to like the anime Naruto more than the manga Naruto.
I, too, would like to know what it contradicts. It's been a while I read the first chapters of part 2 so there might be something I don't remember. But I can't recall anything the traps and false tracks contradict.
The ballistae don't contradict anything, they are just there for looking lame (ninjas shoot lightning and fireballs, not big arrows). Sasori setting traps and leaving false tracks, however, that does contradict things. Namely what is said in chapter 266, page 14-15 (anime people don't look!)
