who is REALLY the ultimate mutant?

Nate Grey was created by Sinister to be at the pinnacle of mutant development and the weapon that defeats Apocalypse...he would literally become a god if his powers were ever allowed to reach thier max...probably way more powerful than Cable became when he unleashed his full powers in "Cable/Deadpool".

and Franklin Richards, the spawn of the Fantastic Four but in reality a spawn of the Celestials...in the "Days of Future Past" (old X-Men storyline) he was said to be the most powerful mutant that had ever lived. he has the potential to recreate worlds as he wants them.

thier combined powers made 'Onlslaught' the very essence of reality and the most powerful being ever...

I dont have all the info on either of them (especially on Franklin) but i'm just curious as to which one is really the "ultimate" mutant?

err... didn't professor x and magneto create onslaught...? i was under the impression that the being known as onslaught was created from the combined consciousness of prof x and mags when the prof tried to mindwipe mags.

anyway, i would say frank richards. he does have the power of the celestials and was able to create a pocket universe while still a child. who knows how far his powers would go.

Franklin Richards. As much as I know about Nate and like him, Frankie's the ultimate mutant.

Didn't a child Franklin Richards turn into Galactus, and still retained a lot of Galactus' actual power?

    I'd go with Frank.

Those two didn't make onslaught it was Magneto and Prof. X, and Franklin is a lot stronger than X-man.

Franklin Richards is easily stronger than X-man. FR has cosmic level powers, Nate doesn't.

Nate Grey, at full potential, is equal to the Phoenix (II), the one where part of the Phoenix Force impersonated Jean and became Dark Phoenix later.

But even so, Frankie still wins.

Franklin is stronger than a regular Phoenix avatar; he\s equal to a Celestial or Galactus.

Franklin is the more powerful mutant but X-man would win.X-man has too many more years of experience, is a telepath and is the most powerful version of a telepath.

Franklin isn't. Ultimate power is nothing without finesse and Nate had that towards the end of his short life.

Although Franklin could probably whip up and anti-telepathy helmet if his powers worked that way. Problem was, as Psi-lord, all he ever seemed to do was fly around and shoot blasts from his hands. Not very impressive.

But if Franklin used his powers in the way I felt he should, i.e. be able to do anything, then yes, he would win.

If you're talking Psi-Lord then Nate would easily win as that is by no means close to Franklin's full potential.

A Franklin Richards at full potential power vs a Nate Grey at full potential power would be a win for Franklin but the name Psi-Lord refers to the versions of Franklin which are basically limited to pretty powerful telepathy and telekinesis and in that area you don't top a Summers/Grey child.
