So the new Killers album was panned by the NYT, saying they evolved too quickly. Honestly, I don't know where the Killers get off talking about small town America. Does this not seem to gel for anyone else?

Anyway, I'm still looking forward to the album. Anybody listen to it yet?

haha, I didn't mean to say that they sound like U2. Just that it has that big sound.

I think they pull it off quite well, but the album as a whole is still mediocore in my opinion.

One of my guys reviewed that two days ago, and the first two sentences of the review was "After the freak success of Hot Fuss in 2004, U2 took on Las Vegas band The Killers as their warm-up. It's clear that these months of playing at stadiums have done irrecoverable damage."

    Haven't heard it myself.

My brother owns the Hot Fuss album, I barely remember any songs off it, but it had 1 or 2 that I enjoyed. I don't plan on getting the new album, but my brother is a fan, so I'll probably be stuck anyway hearing it.

I've been anticipating this album since Hot Fuss. I'm uploading it right now and I'll send it around. (Whether you like it or not.)

I'm actually listening to it myself, so I'll give some of my opinions a bit later on.

Is a pretty solid album I've only listened to a couple songs though. Read My Mind is a top tune.

I agree. I enjoyed "Mr. Brightside" more than "Bones", though "Bones" is one addicting track.
