    One Self

What are they going to use next? Army Smash! It seems they are heading towards Hulk level vocabulary...

By far IMO Air Force & Navy are much better at slogan making.

The Army blows too much in add campaigns and propaganda when they could really put it in what REALLY gets people to join them. A strong set of benefits, good food, decent housing, variety of ways to have some fun, and quality equipment.

"Army Strong" sounds pretty stupid as well. Just so you all know its not the generals and higer ups that make the US military the most powerful force in the world its the low ranking soldier that knows his shit that does since a lot of these damn guys seem to have things up their asses and have created some of the dumbest of shit. Safety regulations are some of those retarded rules... Im not technically allowed to walk and talk on my cell phone while on base... Yeah that kind of stupid.

Haha, what the hell? I can see why they'd want connotations of strength in the slogan, but as you said 'Army Strong!' really does just sound like something the Hulk growled. Gotta wonder how much money they spent on that anyway. You just know there's a group of overpaid executives feeling smug somewhere.

I like your idea of Army Smash! alot more anyway.

    thats pretty weird.

i just love the drastic contridacition in slogans that changed over the past 5 years.

i can't remember the exact slogan but it was something like "we (the army) are a team and survive as such". which changed into "an army of one". two completely different slogans but apparently met the same recruitment requirements. apparently the first markting stategy didn't work (a marketing firm was fired) as well as the "an army of one".

They should have stuck with "be all that you can be". It was at least more intelligent.

This is not the same army I remember as a child growing up an army brat.:notrust
