Easily Housi no Kuni, rarely do you see such praise for a CG show, it had a hill to climb because of that.

What exactly are we considering to be an underdog in this case? How are we defining it, I mean?

Kado, Houseki, and Youju Senki are notably better than the other two.

Hmm, I guess it'd be Houseki no Kuni for me as well then. I had kind of an odd situation with it where I had dropped it because Saturday's schedule was so packed for me that it was ruining the shows that day as it aired and then I went back to it in the end.

I think the opposite sort of thing happened with Alice to Zouroku with me liking how it started and not where it went. Kado got better too (though people seem to dislike the ending), but I never dropped it like HnK.

Both Youjo Senki and Houseki no Kuni were a pleasant surprise for me but my vote goes to HnK for that surprisingly good CGI.

I feel like Onihei really deserves a mention here for being excellent and not being watched by like anyone else. Amazon took it but HS didn't rip it so it got pretty fucked over.

It's a great episodic historical anime.

It's a nice watch. Not INCREDIBLE, but really solid which puts it up there with the better shows last year.

I think there was supposed to be an OVA too but I doubt it got TLed.

Well, from the little I know about it, it will be a nice change of pace from most of the anime I am watching anyway.
