Yeah I know. Raiders are hinting that they want Foles.

I like Foles (just not when he's on my team) . I think he deserve better than the Raiders. I was hoping Jags would ask for him.

He threatens the organization from doing what I believe is the wrong choice ( though I never believed they were actually going to pick him over Wentz)

You should be happy he's on this team. He won us our first superbowl and is putting us in position to possible win a second. Based on your statement, I assume you want us to lose to the Saints?

I appreciate the wins I just don't trust him as a full season QB aka "the guy" Carson Wentz won 11 games and only lost 2 during that super bowl run which allowed him to play most of his games at home. That mattered a great deal.

I've been thinking about it all week..and I want them to win against the Saints. If they lose however I'm not sure I'd take it as hard as I usually take an Eagles lost.

I think we'll win tho. Saints defense isn't nearly as difficult as the Bear's. Foles is gonna shred them like Swiss cheese.

    Bears'*

They don't have to be though. Like the Chiefs they can just use high powered offense to outscore opponents.

Yeah that's true. I of course think the game plan will be a lot of short passes and runs in order to give Brees less time to score.

And that 11-2 season was great. But whats the point if he can't finish a season? Like he's going to be our starter, that without a doubt. He's way more talented but, It's hard for me to trust a QB that has had some sort of injury every year for the past 4 years, and comes up short in big games. I need to see more. Next year is going to be very telling especially with the outrageous amount of pressure he's going to have.

He plays best when he's with the Eagles though. Also, I am against trading Wentz, but Foles has done more for the organization than Wentz ever has. Wentz had like two-thirds of one good season and then a lackluster season this year, as opposed to Foles who has a record of success in the playoffs, including a Super Bowl win and MVP.

People are acting like he's RG3 and I actually don't believe that's the case. He played all 16 games his rookie season. And then injured himself through a freak accident the second. And then took many hits finally took it's toll this one..but I actually agree he needs that he needs to play every game to prove he can.
Foles is the more experienced QB which means he has a longer resume. But Wentz has already proved that he's the best QB to be drafted in the past 3 years and could easily improve further...so..no brainer lol.

That's why I said that I wouldn't trade Wentz. However, this season has not helped Wentz's case at all. Not only has he played badly (his stats actually inflate him), but he has also been injured again, a direct result of his own actions. He holds onto the ball for too long and likes to scramble, and in his first real season, the scrambling helped him a lot. But after his first injury, you could see that he was much less effective at what he used to be good at, and now he has been injured again. Foles is definitely smarter and more experienced than Wentz which gives Foles an advantage, but Wentz himself can only accrue experience if he is actually playing instead of sitting injured on the sidelines.

    1. If Tom Brady (41) or Philip Rivers (37) faces Drew Brees (40 by SB Sunday), it would be the OLDEST combined age of two SB QBs. That record is currently 71, done twice (Elway vs Chandler; Gannon vs Johnson).

    2. If, on the other hand, Patrick Mahomes (23) faces either Jared Goff (24) or Dak Prescott (25), we would have the YOUNGEST matchup of starting QBs in SB history. That’s currently 51, also done twice (Montana vs Marino; Favre vs Bledsoe).

    3. Finally, if Brady faces either Goff or Prescott, or Brees faces Mahomes, that would be the largest AGE GAP between two starting QBs in the Super Bowl. That is currently 13 years, when Peyton Manning (then 39) faced Cam Newton (then 26). Rivers vs Goff would tie that mark.

    4. Also if Nick Foles and Andrew Luck face off in the Super Bowl they will have the closest age gap between starting QBs at only 235 days. Current record is Trent Dilfer and Kerry Collins at 292 days.
    5. Roethlisberger was born on March 2, 1982. He won his first super bowl February 5, 2006. He was 23 years 11 months and 3 days old.

Mahomes was born on September 17, 1995. If he wins the super bowl on February 3, 2019. He will be 23 years 4 months and 17 days old. Dan Marino was 23 years 4 months and 5 days old when he started in his lone Superbowl, making him youngest to start, but in the 1980s the Superbowl was played on Jan 20th instead of Feb 3rd meaning that if Jan 20th was still the date Patrick Mahomes would be the youngest to start in a Superbowl (if he makes it there).
