I usually don't make these threads for AotM however Chuu-2 is a special occasion and here's why..
-Half of its time will be spent with the anime complete
-The novel is DRASTICALLY different from the anime, think the Eureka 7 tv series and its movie
    -Not many threads in here

    Lets get it going!

So for those who read the light novel, what did you think of it? I can't wait till the second LN is translated personally.

I'm waiting for the anime to finish before I start reading the novels. Don't want to mix up the different story lines

They are not even remotely related to each other, they are so vastly different you could almost call it another series, it would be impossible for anyone to mix them up.

Hate to double post, but I finished the second LN.

Overall it was a fun read, Yuuta and Rikka dating was pretty hilarious. I nearly fell out of my bed laughing when Yuuta squealed like a girl to get the punk to leave him and Rikka alone.

Shichimiya was underwhelming, she didn't live up to the hype, she just kept getting her ass handed to her by Rikka. I am amazed how creative they can be when they fight, makes my fake fights with my cousins look pathetic in comparisons.

The kidnapping at the end should have been adapted, would have been better then what the anime had.

So the novels are completely different after all? Guess I'll go ahead and read them then.

99% different, if it wasn't for the character names you would think its a different series about Chuunibyou

About to finish the first book and I have to say I think the anime approached everything a bit better, but it's still too early enough to decide :hmm

Some things about the anime are better, more characters and the series focus on fun till the later half. I still think the second book would have been better to adapt then the drama they made up.
