Unfortunately Sweden lost our best player last year.

    :sadpanda

Lotta Schelin, "the female Ibrahimovic," suffered a head injury that left her with near-constant headaches, so she can't play anymore.

Hahahaha France just owned Korea~ I feel sorry for Ji So-Yeon but the game was utterly one sided

I think I'm gonna cheer for England because my girl Fran Kirby is there~ but Nadeshiko Japan could be an enormous force, even though more than half the squad are WC debutans, those are the girls that owned the u-20 world cup in france last time~

  12. US are still fav though .

I ll cheer for japan womens team. They can give good challenge any time.

I don't think I can support US yet, that team still smells like Abby Wambach even though she has been out for years~

  14. Yea but you cant count them out:dead

I am betting on france. Oh great i still need to watch the games. Need to see the livestreams for todays game . :yumme

Yeah, was watching a news report on the BBC yesterday in my hotel about the match. Glad to see women's football get more exposure. Scotland have a real uphill battle ahead of them!

    Valkyries looking good.

What's with the all-blonde team though? We need to affirm Chilean stereotypes about us?

I was just ranting about how I think the "FIFA World Cup" should be renamed the "FIFA Men's World Cup".

Being a woman is not a handicap, so don't treat the WWC like it's the Paralympics.

Yeah, I don't know about you but I'm one of those fucking people who watch sports programs after the match talking about the match I just saw (I know, it's dumb). And the tone they use to talk about women's football is just abhorrently patronising.

  30. Its just sad really . I mean they are forced to play on astro turf it hurts the player and injure them in long run.
