Well, since you're the thread maker, you're expected to

    A) List powers and abilities of each opponent
    B) Compare feats of each oppononent
and C) List the circumstances of the battle.

:sigh:: You'd think people would know about their powers and achievements and all.

All info gotten from the marvel directory

    Apocolypse

    Strength Level:
Since Apocalypse can increase his strength by drawing on outside energy sources, his strength is potentially incalculable.

    Known Superhuman Powers:
Apocalypse is a mutant who possesses superhuman strength which he can augment by psionically drawing on outside energy sources. Apocalypse can alter the atomic structure of his body at will in order to change his form. He can even increase his size by taking on additional mass from a presumably extra-dimensional source. Through his ability to alter his form, Apocalypse can give himself virtually any superhuman physical power. Apocalypse's "costume" is actually part of his body, and he can psionically alter its appearance at will. He can levitate himself telekinetically.

Apocalypse has an extraordinarily long life span that has already lasted thousands of years. He can survive for weeks without food or water and can rapidly recover from injuries that would prove fatal to normal human beings. In the future, however, his physical form will eventually grow too aged and enfeebled to contain his vast superhuman energies. Hence, he will transfer his consciousness and powers into a succession of host bodies, abandoning each one when it too grows too old to contain his power.

    Onslaught

SUPERHUMAN POWERS: Onslaught possessed the combined mutant abilities of his progenitors Professor X and Magneto. He could induce illusions, temporary mental or physical paralysis, loss of specific memories, or total amnesia; project mind-numbing mental bolts; and sense the presence of mutants within a small radius. Also, Onslaught was able to shape and manipulate magnetic fields, both natural and artificial. Using his powers to augment his strength, he could lift up to 100 tons. Other abilities included telekinesis and astral projection.

    achievements

Well they're both pretty much cosmic level and are two of the strongest enemies the X-Men have faced and pretty much pwned them.

as for circumstances... I don't know maybe the Xmen tricked them into fighting each other? Or maybe just to see who's the stronger one?

I'm pretty sure everyone knows their powers...I could've swore this was made before but I guess not.

Anyways, Magneto pwned Apocolypse, Onslaught >>> Magneto.

Apocolypse would not hold up against all the world's heroes without some sort of aide.
Nor does he have power comparable to creating a second sun...

    Onslaught FTW.

Onslaught casts amnesia on Apocalypse and make him think he's a baby kitten, then he drops a 100 ton compacted metal heap-ball taken from a dumpyard that was compressed by him.

    THE END

Through the whole Onslaught saga Apoc is shown in an inferior light whenever they cut to him, making it clear he would lose.

    Apoc feats: Losing to Magneto
    Onslaught feats: Creating a star.

Since I'm such a nice guy here's a image of Onslaughts battle with the Fantastic four.

It's obvious Onslaught can beat the pants off him since he can create a illusion of anyone's fears or something to distract Apocalypse.

Base Onslaught is more powerful than Base Apocalypse.

HOWEVER! Onslaught at his strongest (with the combined might of Nate Grey and Franklin Richards) pales in comparison to Apocalypse at his strongest when he had absorbed the power of the 12 in his celestial machine.

it all depends on the circumstances of the fight.

read the onslaught saga apocalypse himself admitted that the age of onslaught was coming

apocalypse is strong no doubt there very few people who's asses he cant kick but unfortunately for him onslaught is one of those few people.:wink

also poor onslaught :sad died too quickly and was given a cheap finish :mad

edit: boner has a very good point if its apo with the 12 then onslaught is screwed royally :laugh

true but if Apoc absorbed all the Xmen before the fight he could technically beat onslaught.

Onslaught, in most scenarios. When shit comes down to it, Magneto + will of Xavier > Apocalypse (just barely). So both of them together should be enough to take him, especially if they have Franklin Richards helping.

Apocalypse would have to OD on the Celestial tech, and Onslaught would have to be weakened, before an Apocalypse victory would be feasible.

Apocalypse would give him a good fight if Onslaught was unconscious or busy not killing Apocalypse.

    So Basically Apocalypse can't loose...
