From that we can extrapolate that roughly 20% of Americans have been born 2017 or later /science
33 % for Bill Clinton ?
Didn't everyone kinda hate him after he got blown in the oval office ?
Nah, that was mostly Republicans. Most of the public didn't give a shit and he left office with ~60% approval ratings.
Yeah, the bar isn't that high so it's not saying much.
OP you gonna respond to that Doug Jones thread you were shilling in?
That actually backfired on Republicans. Clinton's popularity went up after the accusation. The general opinion was while what Clinton did was bad, Republicans digging in the mud was worse.
Being followed by G.W. Bush also makes Clinton look way better in comparison.
I'm sorry, you said something?
Y'know, everything is relative?
If you're halfway eating something very unsavory for 4 years, and before that you ate an average dish for 8 years; you will reminisce the time you're eating that average dish to the point of romanticizing it.
Well, well well well well
Would you look at that.
And not being a Predator?
The best part about this is all of the posturing trying to claim it's not a big deal.
In just the last fifteen years we made huge leaps in terms of gay rights, trans rights, recovery from a huge economic downturn, and other smaller accomplishments that were done under Obama.
He didn't do enough if you ask me but I also would not say he did nothing.
this is pathetic
"h-hey look! Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez criticized Roy Moore! She understands where her allegiance should lay! Take that progressives! "
You didn't have a rebuttal towards me calling attention to how Doug Jones has sided with Trump in deregulation of the banks, appointee picks, and so forth. So you opt for posting Twitter post that have nothing to do with the discussion.
I think in terms of what he could have done he didn't do enough, but he faced opposition like no President in modern history has to the most simplistic of things. Even now we're seeing the extent that Republicans will let Trump go to before checking him when Obama wouldn't have gotten 1/16th of the way.
Could Obama have forced more things through? Yeah. How many of them would have been undone, used to paint him and those that supported him like tyrants, or just blocked through unlawful means?
I'm curious to see what would be the results per party. I understand that a lot of Republicans were absolutely furious at the liberties Obama took in just going ahead with health care instead of waiting for Congress to do absolutely nothing.
I like Obama, but I have to say that a lot of the popularity of presidents depends on economical and political events which they often did not have a lot of power over. For instance, I think that a lot of the popularity of Clinton comes from the fact that the economy was going really well while he was president. And I doubt that he had a lot of influence in that.
Clinton definitely didn't hurt the economy in any glaring way either. He did greatly weaken our intelligence agencies and facilitated the ignorances that led to 9/11, but hindsight is 20/20.
He helped with the deregulations that helped cause the recession in 2008, you're so massively ignorant it's funny watching you act like youre educated on these matters.
Go cry somewhere else you spoiled fucking toddler. It's funny watching you act like you're doing anything else but trying to impress Normality and frustrate everyone else.
Awww, the baby is getting mad someone is correcting him on his bullshit. Don't project your spoiledness onto me you fat fuck.
People are stupid.
Here's my order:
George H W Bush
George W Bush
You were alive for Reagan?
Well, you only need to have been born before January 20, 1989 to technically have been alive during the Reagan presidency.
I only missed him by 7 months.
But prior to ca. age 10 most people will not have any notion of what a "president" really is or what they do.
George W Bush, that bipedal retarded turd?
That would be him.
Yes. I was almost alive for Carter.
Personality aside, Trump is so far objectively better than Bush II, because he hasn't started any wars or recessions.
And props for the North Korea thing.
But he's got potentially another 6 years to do something horrible.
Let us remember that Kim decided potatoes were more important than meeting with Pompeo.
The way it's going so far, it will be Trump's greatest embarrassment...Or the motive to do something horrible, as you so mentioned.
Damn, okay then.
