Depending on how Oda want to take the Kaido fall, if he goes with the Luffy taking him down root, Luffy is likely at Fujitora level after he defeats Kaido. Luffy growth in strength is justify.

What about everyone else? SH have some power development here and there, but no where enough.

    - if Zoro evenly match with Vista in the next arc wouldn’t it seem like asspull considering he cant even hold back bird cage. At least give Zoro some difficult fights. And by then Zoro should at least be first mate level to try and keep up with Luffy. He needs a lot more development.
    - Law - till now, we’ve seen nothing that suggest he became significantly better than when he last fought Doffy. Oda could at least show us some flash back of him training and unlocking some new moves and improving his haki or something.

You guys get the idea. Why Oda focus so much of developing all these side characters and flash back of Kinemon. Instead he should spend panel time developing Novas and the SH to justify their improvement while building a deeper connection with characters that he should be building up for years.

Heck, even some random panels of BB pirate training, Bart fighting some infamous pirates, smoker doing gravity training, etc could help.

btw, I’ve being watching My Hero Academia. Great anime/manga. :cat

I dislike this idea that Law has to have a flashback for his training on how he got stronger. Yet no character in this manga or any other manga ever is held to the same standard. Just Law.

People say Law hasn't fought enough people but the dude fought Smoker, Vergo, Fujitora and Doflamingo, Doflamingo, Doflamingo, Hawkins, Hawkins. Rayleigh said Haki gets stronger the more you use it. Oda says characters get stronger every arc.

The same author had Crocodile do nothing after Alabasta yet Crocodile had a crazy boost in power.

Yet Law is held to a ridiculous standard? :lmao

I said ‘significantly’ stronger. Everyone will get stronger after every battle, but if you want him to be Admiral level or something by EOS, he (and everyone else) needs more power development panels.

And Law was just an example. This is true for all Nova and most SH.

Fuji could only barely hold off the bird cage either so I don't really see why that's a point against Zoro. Also neither one tried to actually cut it.

Birdcage is a Top Tier ability that’s completely useless in 1v1 don’t know why you are using that against Zoro.

It is irrelevant. Next arc opponents will be stronger than Kaido and his crew. And SH will be strong enough to beat them this is all.

Luffy isn't 80 years old, Arlong tier, exhausted or handcuffed with seastone. Kizaru might have a hard time.

All depends on how hard kaidou gets nerfed and if anything Luffy gains after wano is "kept".
