Why isn't Vdubmod good for you?
If you're searching for an AVI editor, it really is VdubMod the best.

I can teach you how to use it.

its called Sony Dvd Architect 2. You can do pretty much whatever you like with this program since it has everything that you need for video editing.

for virtual dub i got this message just now

the sources video stream uses a compression algorithm which is not compatible with AVI files. Direct stream copy connot be used with this video stream. in virtual dub

and if i do like fast compression it will take about 8000mb and that is too much for just a 600mb video

I use Adobe Premiere + After-effects even though I'm not good with it.
