    I thought so too.
But I thought maybe there is someone out there who think DC's most smartest man might offer competition to Reed.
Unless DC has someone smarter than Lex. :hmm

Hmm wasn't there a story where Lex had outsmarted Brainiac?
    :hmm
    I could be wrong though.

Anyhow, unless you use an actual good DC prep user, Reed easily murders lex

Constantine is great con artist and wizard but he is not strictly speaking a genius.
Not in conventional science(or math) fields anyway.
    Magic is weird case.

Braniac and his descendants are most definitely either smarter or equal to Lex

Lex is just the smartest thing from earth.

Vril Dox (Braniac 2) and Braniac 5 both are heroic examples of descendents that are comparable.

    They’re all twelfth level intellects

I love how DC and Marvel constantly quantify intelligence freely because the science is so far removed from real science. So they can't really show them working on realistic problems. They also show how scientists in sci-fi are experts in everything. Like Reed Richards is simultaneously a the worlds best physicists, engineer, geneticist and pilot. And then they bring in aliens and have human science hold their own alien geniuses.

As if any science Lex Luthor could ever make would compete with the Kryptonian technology that Superman and Supergirl are familiar with. Or that it would take humanity less that a century to understand how an alien flashlight works. Its like if they got Alexander Fleming in to fix the large hadron collider. Or Pythagoras to cure cancer.

    How?
Has he outsmarted Lex in comics somewhere? :hmm
On that note it is shame what Arrow did with Mr. Terrific.

No need to get touchy. I'm not saying I hate it. Usually its just funny or in the back of my mind. I'm just saying its very silly.

Generally I think its fair to criticise a sci-fi or fantasy with nonsense rules for failings in realistic personalities and minds though.
If a character is meant to have a human brain, it breaks immersion if they go too far beyond the limitations of the human brain. In the same way that its fine for Green Arrow or Hawkeye to use a longbow with a draw that's 20 pounds higher than an olympic athlete could use. But it wouldn't be fine for them to pick up an arrow and throw it through six feet of concrete without some technobabble or magic backing them up.

Yes you are very socially inept for knowing fiction is different than reality.

I don't think you know what inept means. That's because I think you think that sarcasm works on the internet and that immersion in a series is the same as being socially aware.
Even impossible events in fiction are only interesting because they happen through the lens of a character.

Bruce Banner is the best at nuclear physics.

    Tony is the best Engineer

Hank Pym is the Biochemist expert

    Reed Richards is Astrophysics

    Etc

They’re all Polymaths, which makes sense when you’re a supergenius.

On the fly he can build machines that let him travel in time. Or through and into other dimensions, realities or universes. Thanos has even claimed if he worked with Reed, they could create a Cosmic Cube together. There's a lot more but Reed is one of the undisputed masters of prep in Marvel.

Reed Richards literally once went up and knocked on TOAA’s door to get Ben Grimm’s soul back :lmao

He also built an Ultimate Nullifier of his own IIRC

Reed carries city block time freeze grenades that don't effect him, his own suit has a mode that makes him intangible, given 8 mins he can build slightly imperfect cosmic cubes, he also has a gun that manipulates kennetic and gravity forces casually.
Built a machine that took away Spiderman's powers just off the top of my dome which don't include UN.
