    It will be interesting, because "Shrek" was huge in its day, but seems to inspire apathy now. But I could be wrong, as I simply don't hear about the franchise much anymore, outside of those who probably never cared about it in the first place.

    I remember loving the first two movies back when they were released, but didn't like 3 or 4. I never saw the "Puss n Boots" spin-off. I am one of the few people though who watched a few episodes of "Father of the Pride", where Donkey was a guest star in one of the episodes.

    I watched that show too, wasn't Donkey a diva in it?

    And the Puss in Boots movie was actually good unlike Shrek the Third. Never saw Shrek Forever After.

    Something like that. I remember the gimmick was that Donkey was an actor and "Shrek" was a movie he starred in.

    Do you think this movie could be dank? it certianly needs to be quite dank if they want to tackle the contemporary shrek culture.
