Pain still wins imo. Espically if he is unrestricted.

Together i can see them winning after a decent fight

An unrestricted, fresh, KI Pain would make them really work for it tho

Pain is portrayed ridiculously out of their league individually, but together is another matter. It also works to balance out the whole numbers disadvantage thing.

Depends if they're able to take out Deva before he gets his powers back. I'd say they'd be able to pull it off after a bit and take the win.

His stated and shown better, SM Naruto, didnt solo

Then KN6 Naruto who is superior to SM Naruto, also didnt solo

    As per canon

But go ahead and refuse any canon from post chapter 380 like you always do :kermit

Seems to be the only way Jman fans know how to debate

Sm naruto nearly took out deva before he was rejuvenated
Add jiraiaya and It’s a guaranteed win

Unrestricted pein may also lose unless he starts off with CST

What matters here is that Jiraiya can beat Pain as per canon :catshrug

Don't bother about this, I'm just following the Canon.

Pain barely defeated Jiraiya and "Naruto" each on his own.
I don't see him winning this....

At most that statement implies Jiraiya can force a scenario in which Pein doesn't beat him(can be interpreted many ways). But thats in a situation with multiple factors in Jiraiya's favour

It in no way implies Jiraiya can beat an unrestricted Pein, something i dont even think 99% of the people in his tier bracket can do.

In fact nope, his performance against the six Paths with unfavor factors show that Pain's statement does not mean "if Jiraiya had all the advantages against me".

Pein barely held on long enough against Naruto to get Deva’s powers back. SM Jiraiya can make quick work of a few of the Paths with the 1v1 opportunities created here. With Deva on cool down, Asura destroyed right away, and the same general scenario as canon (knowledge, prep, killing intent all favoring Naruto) this is honestly going to be over fast. If Jiraiya just stalls one Path it would likely make the difference; if Jiraiya kills two before Deva gets his powers it is low difficulty.

With Deva being on cool down this turns in to a bit of a stomp in favor of Jiraiya/Naruto.

Pain probably still wins. Jiraiya being in the battlefield means Fukasaku and Shima can't do what they did when they joined Naruto.

Animal Path will do a good job of separating Jiraiya from Naruto. Likely, Hell Realm will go through the trouble of reviving Demon Path and Hungry Ghost. When Naruto runs out of SM, it may be over seeing as Jiraiya will be dealing with his own bodies and failing against shared vision while base Naruto has to deal with Pain.

Though, when Deva enters the field, it is over.

Like Minato barely defeated Obito? :maybe

That team wins that match up in my opinion because Naruto is on par with the paths version of Nagato and Jiraiya is suggested as being on par with the paths version of Nagato. :p

Sages should win. Naruto was effortlessly dogging their defensive formation picking them off one after the other, and came a couple seconds away from defeating Pain himself (just before Deva's power returned).

Adding in SM Jiraiya should accelerate the deaths of the paths, especially considering Pain still has no reservations of hurting Naruto here again, only capturing him.

There are 3 boss frogs on the field to combat Animal's summons, and Jiraiya killed Animal Path twice on panel, both times when he had no boss frogs on the field helping him.

The implication that one path would stalemate or separate Jiraiya from Naruto is utterly ridiculous. It took six paths to stalemate him in combat when he didn't have boss summon support (which he has in abundance here) and only one arm, and he still killed Animal Path during all that.

Naruto alone managed to steamroll 4 of the paths before Deva's cooldown ended. Add in Jiraiya and they're all going down before Deva comes back online.

The sages will win this fight before Deva comes back online with substantially less difficulty. I think SM Jiraiya's even better since he can stay in the mode with the ma/pa fusion without Naruto's downtime at this stage. Mid maybe high difficulty.

To be fair this is a weakened Pain after already fighting Konoha shinobi / using CST to destroy the village though. And he has limited knowledge on SM Naruto's abilities whereas his enemies know everything about him in this case.

Fresh full chakra Pain w/ Deva ready to go and balanced knowledge is a... painfully different scenario :pimpe.

    • Is asura out
    • is pain sending one path at a time at Naruto
    • Is animal path going to use the chameleon
    • Is the bird going to drop egg bombs at them
    Without PIS, Pain wins this
    Animal, Preta , human > J Man
    0%Deva , asura , Naraka < Naruto

They wont end the fight before Deva powers Up

Jiraiya having Fukasaku and Shima fused completely removes them from using the jutsu they used when they assisted Naruto. With 2 Sages and manga knowledge, they'll go out of their way to revive Demon Path.

I don't believe you recall much from the battle.

Jiraiya was forced to run with only 2 Paths sharing vision, he was powerless. Naruto was doing well, however.
If Demon Path is revived, well, we've seen what he can do, that Path plus the other Paths- they'll be more than adequate to separate them.

Animal Path did canonically corner the toads with one summon. Jiraiya is going to find himself in the same position again but with no where to run. Naruto will be compelled to back Jiraiya up.

When Naruto's Sage Mode runs out, and/or Deva Path fully recharged, it is over.

You're making the mistake of thinking that Fukasaku and Shima aren't limited in their support functions when fused with Jiraiya.
