Oh yes, I have Suikoden 2 and I played it a few months back. Loved it, actually, and that's one of the best PS1 games that I've played. :thumbs

The best part of the game is getting McDohl to join your party. :p

Suikoden 2 was the best of the series and one of my most favorite RPGs. I think I beat the game like 5 times when I was a kid. My team consist of Viktor, Yuber, Georg, Hero, Clive, and McDohl.

Here's a tip, for anyone who just randomly decides to pick up this game. When you first enter the mountain pass, make sure to stay there and continuously fight the deadly rabbits. The drop the Double-Beat rune which is one of the best runes in the game. Stock up 6 and you'll probably rock a huge amount of the early game since you get to attack twice. Also make sure you save Nanami to get your best ending.

i did my search and this one was the one i liked.....

so far there's no official suikoden thread and i think this would be a good one....

so far my fav's are 2 and very very closely followed by 3, almost a tie....

but just share your exp. with this great series of 4 games ... (4 doesn't count <.<)

sadly i have yet to play 5. since 4 was so bad, i'm in fear to lose my great image of suikoden by playing 5. <.<

I don't currently play suikoden 2. I have played suikoden 2 in the past though :oh

@Kami Sama: 5 definitely made up for that trashy 4. Nice music, good cast of characters, and a decent plot like always.

I thought 3 4 Tactics and 5 were pretty bad. 3 Was alright, 4 was bad, Tactics sucked ass and I had a bad taste in my mouth after 5 :(

2 and 1 were the best, too bad they didn't take their time making the sequels

i thought that 3 was pretty good, up there wit 2.

the trio story system was implemented good, the story was interesting.

the way you could change what you thought of a character when you saw what happened in another point of view was awsome.

the battle system was a little dumbed down, but nothing that could ruin the game.

they found a way to make most of the characters usefull. (back up characters with jobs).

i think it was a good step foward.

I played Suikoden 2 on an emulator about 3 years ago. It was pretty great, but I kind of liked 3 more.

Anyway, I don't remember much about the game, sadly. I suck. :arg
