Responsibility and punctuality are among my favorite virtues.

Shame people don't take pride in them without being forced to.

About time they did this. I've had so many detentions as a kid because of their tardiness :p

well, serves them right. PArents are always ranting about respecting your commitments and being punctual. But when it comes to them, they always wrigle out from it.

Ha! Good. It's never fair when the poor kid gets detention just because their parents don't go quickly enough.

Hahahahaha! Man, that gave me a good laugh.

Well, while I was growing up, my parents did of course emphasize on the importance of punctuality and keeping time proper but it almost never does seem to apply to them.

However, I was most of the time not late to school simply because I commuted to school on my own with my trusty bicycle. No one to blame should I arrive late. Hee!

HAHAHAHA !!! Wow, that's so crazy stuff ! The parents, supposed to be the virst example of "responsibility" for their kids, get punished like kids for being late !!

ABOUT TIME !! Too many parents are starting to forget what their duties are.

Wait, I had to make my own breakfast, get myself dressed and get to school on my own. I was responsible for my own lateness. And if you're detaining adults in the morning who need to get to work, you could cost them their jobs...

I wouldn't call this the most wise policy I've ever heard, even if my inner child thinks this is fantastic justice.

    well if you read carefully:

    So they knew already. And:

So she is not forcing them to stay, and in an emergency, such as a job or illness, they don't have to stay. And most of the parents are ok with this!!!
