Atletico lost today. They showed they have a huge Agüero-dependence :D:

1st half was shit, no Agüero, 10-men Vallalodid pwned us. Agüero came in the 2nd half, but it was too late.

EDIT: This is the last season los Colchoneros play in Vicente Calderón. Next season, new stadium of La Peineta.

Huge Agüero dependence? I have to see a 2 matches with Atlético Madrid: one match that includes Agüero, and the other match that does not include him at the pitch.

It sounds as if Agüero is a playmaker, but we all know he is a striker. Therefore, Atlético Madrid's problem must be in finishing and in creating the chances, right?

The defense has improved, now Atleti needs to strenghten their attack: rely only of Agüero and Luis Garcia isn´t good if your other strikers fail and you cannot use both of them for diverses circustances like injuries.

PD: I was surprised of seeing Seitaridis playing in the starting 11. I believed he had left Atletico.

Johnny Heitinga can play at the next Champions League match. In this match Atlético Madrid will play against PSV Eindhoven.
Heitinga got injured this week when he was away on international duty.

    Opstelling PSV:
Isaksson; Salcido, Marcellis, Bréchet, Pieters; Simons, Méndez, Culina; Affelay, Koevermans en Amrabat.
Wissels: Cássio Ramos, Maza Rodriguez, Zonneveld, Lazovic, Dzsudzsák, Bakkal en Wuytens.

hmmm... Affelay and Amrabat partnered up as wingers... That means PSV can flank psychopathically.

I don't know the line-ups of Atlético Madrid yet, unfortunatly.

Great, thanks for the line ups! It looks like that Atlérico Madrid has a powerful offensive qualities... PSV is known in the Eredivise for having the most solid defense, can they take that?
The Danger from Madrid can be expected from the wings, I'll bet. Heitinga will no doubt join the forwards when a corner on Atlético's favour or a free-kick close to the opponents penalty-box is about to be taken.
Further more, Atlético's defense can be expected solid, as Heitinga and Ujfalusi have formed an excellent Central-duo partnership.

Edit: What the?! PSV will be starting on a 4-4-2 formation with Koevermans forming with Affelay partnership up front. According to their coach, PSV will be changing (and reacting) throughout the match back to a 4-3-3 formation as it's PSV's optimal formation so far (With Affelay as a left-winger with a free-role... this has proven in the league to be very effective.)
Also, PSV will try to exploit Atlético's weakness by trying to hold the ball when in position... this can result into a very defensively PSV, sincerly I do not hope that to happan.

Athletico has produced some really good players, can the team itself catapult itself to stardom?
I hope they contend for La Liga crown this season.

Is Atletico. Athletic is other team, of Bilbao.

Bad news. Forlan is KO. He had to be reemplaced by Sinama :arg

AND AGÜERO SCORES HIS SECOND GOAL!

Great combination between Sinama and Agüero.

Bad timing from Rosetti to replace Forlan, that might have been PSV's chance.

Bréchet is surprisingly slow... Dirk Marcellis has to cover the speed now as well, but he is doing it good so far, despite the 2 goals done by Atlético, I think.
Heitinga is doing a good thing now, I think. He is man marking the Koevermans now pretty tight. He's being boo'ed, slightly surprised, due to the fact that he is a nearly fixed member of Oranje...

If Afellay can get the ball well, then he can still deliver Athético a miserable night.

PSV Had much more posession and made more than 21 attempts, where only 5 of them were on target, while Atletico had only 11 attempts and 7 of them were on target!

Why didn't PSV Substituted Koevermans for Danko Lazovic when Koevermans kept missing?

That's a very good result and another mass beating at their home stadium. It looks like as if Atl?tico Madrid is not only unbeatable, but it sends every opponent team packing out of the stadium with a crushing, humiliating result.

    Atletico 4-0 Shalke04
    Atletico 4-0 Malaga (:D: )
Vallalodid 2-1 Atletico (that game where Agüero played only one half)
    PSV 0-3 Atletico
    Atletico 4-0 Recreativo

16 goals in 5 last games are sure fearful. Atletico is showing to be more powerful than current Real Madrid and Barça together.

Next week they´ll face Getafe the Wenesday, and the second great test of the season (the first was PSV): the match against Sevilla in Vicente Calderon.

PD: And finally they fixed their huge defense problems of last season. In last 5 games they only have received 2 goals. And Stavros, Seitaridis seems to be coming back to his old days, he has improved a lot.

To me, it looks like Tomáš Ujfaluši from behind, however... At Atletico Madrid, the one who is wearing the #8 Jersey is Raul Garcia.
I don't know how Raul Garcia precisely looks like.

Good news for Atletico Madrid: John Heitinga is recovering from his injury and has started training with Atletico Madrid.
