I suppose that we can turn this into a Mega Elder Scrolls thread if more people want it but Fallout can go fuck itself. :pek

Anyways, what are the best mods for improving character looks?

Are we talking just character models, or also animations?

    Both would be appreciated.

And while we're at it, is there any ENB that has a minimal fps hit while still looking gorgeous?

Depends on what kind of ENB you like. Sharper, colder colors? Realistic? Warm? Fantasy?

    For animations I have:

    XP32 Maximum Skeleton Extended
    Female Animation Pack
FNIS (Fores New Idles in Skyrim)
    Immersive Animations

    For character models I have:

    ApachiiHair
    The Eyes of Beauty
    Calientes Beautiful Bodies Edition
Mature skin texture and body for UNP CBBE ADEC
    No More Blocky Faces

I never grabbed anything for males because they already look pretty in my game.

    Fantasy/warm would be appreciated.

Thanks for the other mods. Already had CBBE and Eyes of Beauty. Will check out the other ones.

What are your system specs and what ENB are you running currently to get 7-14 fps.

    i5 - 750 @ 2.66 GHz
    8 GB of GDDR3 RAM
Two Radeon HD 5770s in Crossfire

    As for the ENB:

While I don't know too much about Radeon cards, I'm pretty sure that with the 5770 any decent ENB preset is going to rape your FPS.

    You can try
Or something along the lines of ICBINE 2, but as far as a decent fantasy setting ENB, those will be hard to come by granted they're still playable.

I haven't tried Performance and Realistic ENB :hmm

Also, have you tried turning off DoF, SSAO, and AA to see how it impacts FPS?

    I'll give Zoner's ENB a try.

I've turned off DoF, SSAO, and AA but it didn't improve my fps by much. I hit 18~20 fps with that. Normal Skyrim is about 55~60 fps for me.

Try searching for a few optimization mods. Should bump up ur fps a lot. 60 fps on skyrim is kinda low for pc specs, even in crossfire

I'd go with the other guys' suggestions. I use RealVision ENB, but there's no way you'd be able to run it at a stable framerate. There are Full and Performance versions, but I think you'd still have trouble with the Performance version. :catcry

Any other mod suggestions you're looking for? With your current rig I would advise against numerous texture mods. Even my rig fluctuates between 30-60 fps and I have an i5-4670k and a GTX 780.

However, gameplay overhauls, added towns, combat overhauls, dialogue overhauls, NPC overhauls, etc. barely impact performance, if at all.

I guess that I'll have to wait until I have a better rig to run ENB. :kickcan

Gameplay and combat overhaul suggestions would be appreciated. :33

Some of the stuff can be good but you can be certain that sooner or later it will be corrupted beyond repair. Just imagine it, making 50,000 kills in a CoD game giving you access to a super awesome perk. :uwah
