Alright guys. I'm back. Perhaps this'll be a series of reviews of bands that I happen to appreciate.

Heres alittle backstory. I got a demo disc at the Taste of Chaos tour. It contained 2 tracks from a band called The Fully Down. I gave'm a listen and was dropped. Insane hook-isity from these guys. They put out a full album, and I got an opinion on it.

So lets get to business. You guys remember how we all bitch about hawthorne heights using 3 guitars and pretty much have them all playing the same thing while trying to craft some poppy sounding, wanna be hardcore?

Ever wonder what would happen if the 3 guitar thing was done correctly?

Welcome to THE FULLY DOWN. First impression, A random pop punk band got into a fist fight with Thrice while listening to Iron Maiden. What that means is this: The band is definately poppy. VERY poppy. Very Poppy, laced with thrice influenced melodic hardcore riffage, spiced with Iron Maiden-Esque guitar harmonies out the ass. These guys craft the most complex poppy songs i've ever heard.

I'd suggest that you guys checkout their Myspace page( ) or search for them on pure volume. Give'm a listen, becuase they are not for everyone. but they definately have some sort of sound to them. Like I said, they craft HOOK filled songs. So even if you hate it, you'll probably still find yourself humming it.

    Tracklist:

    1. Cost of Comfort
    2. Descent, Rebellion, And All Around Hellraising
    3. Live and Die by the Shotgun Rules
    4. Revenge is Profitable, Gratitude is Expensive
    5. We Love to Know we're Not alone
    6. Plug in the Eliminator
    7. We Are All Accomplices.
    8. Hey...You guys wanna see a dead body?
    9. Go To heaven for the climate, Hell for the company
    10. The Thoughtless Act of a Single Day
    11. No Fate
    12. A Question of Perspective
    13. Life in Motion.

    Violence Fights Rating-5/5
"If you like thrice, You'll probably enjoy this band. They have that heavy twinge to them, but are poppy enough to bring in the chicks with. I see them blowing up really soon."

I MIGHT pimp this. Emphasis on the might. Depends on my laziness level when I wake up tommarow, or get off work tommarow. if you have other means of obtaining this, then by all means snag some of the songs and give'm a listen.

    My Personal Picks:

    Cost of Comfort
Live and Die by the shotgun rules
    No Fate....
    We Are All Accomplices.

    Maybe I'll give'm a listen.

Generally I have a problem with bands doing the 3/4/8/9/MMCXVII guitar thing, becuase after about 3 guitars, what else can you do, aside from having rhythm, 2 harmonizing one melody, and another using a countermelody at the same time?

Edit: I got the ish ready to be pimped on sendspace and radipshare. ask and ye shall recieve.

No one willing to give it a shot? I didn't want to send it to the whole pimp list incase people hated it...

    but I may have to.
