I don't know about this trump card thing. I cry at chick flicks, and when pets die, and whenever else I feel like it. I act as I am, and the girls come of their own volition :p
    [/end several trump cards XD]

Okay, I've eliminated the ones I've already seen (including Saving Private Ryan), so that gives me a nice list to go with. Thanks, jk and the rest of you trump card players. :p

    Some other suggestions:
Chocolat -- :love Johnny Depp - I would drink this man's bathwater
My Big Fat Greek Wedding (not heavy on the romance, but funny)
    and of course,
    The Princess Bride

All good additions. I think I am going to edit the first post to include the Romantic Comedies that have been suggested :thumbs

I wouldn't drink anyone's bathwater--Not even if they had already showered, then just wanted a soak. :barf

Those 2 movies are enough to make me join this. I cried in the Wedding Singer. It was when he was walking to her house as she was pretending to be his wife all happylike. He thought she was that happy because marrying the other guy, and that just broke my heart. Adam Sandler made me cry, how much more estrogenfilled can you get?

Serendipity isn't on your list. Or Grosse Point Blank. Great movies. The Truth about Cats and Dogs? Come on, j. What sort of fan are you?

Would you consider High Fidelity a romantic comedy? Its more so than some of the movies up there. The Importance of Being Earnest? Another classic.

    High Fidelity...*sigh*

I rented that one day with my girlfriend and her friend. I forgot that it deals with break-ups A LOT, and guess what? My gf's friend had broken up with her bf of 3 years a few days prior to our watching it. Talk about awkward :S

I am adding those movies, even though I haven't seen TIoBE or TTAC&D. Also, you are most definitely in, M, GMan :thumbs

You were kidding about 1) liking Romantic Comedies, or 2) about the fucking part? I could see it going either way, since you are a guy (1. becomes less likely) and you are on a forum (2. becomes less likely :p).
