Top 10 Prep (i.e. Dr. Doom, Washu, Batman, etc.)
1. Thanos (SUPRISE!)
2. Reed Richards
4. Dr Doom
5. Alex Luthor
6. Lex Luthor
7. Dr Strange
10. Iron Man
there is really no one in fiction (Sans a few) that can beat batman with the appropiate prep
no love for Lucifer Morningstar?
Hmm I would put Dexter up somewhere and Dr Gero from DBZ.
1] - Lucifer (Cosmi’s feared him as a human….with no freaking powerless)
2] - Thanos (Succeeded several times in bringing down the entire universe - Himself is his downfall)
3] - Dr. Doom (Mr. I have an invention for everything)
4] - Adam West’s “Batman” (Just read the comic)
5] - Brainiac (Go read the comic)
6] - Lex Luthor (Always up to something)
7] - Dr. Strange (Always has a book for something
8] - Adam Warlock
9] - Reed Richards (Mr. I figured it out)
10]- Black Panther (Took down, Wolverine, FF 4, Saber tooth)
How come none of you are listing Washu?
9)Homura (saiyuki) yes, that guy!
How are we rating prep-time?
Biggest difference between prep and non-prep, best prep time or best when they have prep time.
Because Hulk w/ prep time is pretty powerful, but the prep doesn't do much.
If Hulk is in his Bruce Banner persona he is a genius with prep time.
I think a decent way to do it would be letting these guys prep some normal human for battle, and determine who we think would win. I know we all say Thanos with prep is the best, but to be fair, Thanos without prep can beat a lot of people with just because he is basicly the most powerful non-cosmic in Marvel.
On a side note, I love the Hulk.
1. Lucifer (Goes without saying)
2. Thanos (As above)
3. Alexander Luthor (Recreated the multiverse- albeit briefly)
4. Adam Warlock (Devised a means to stop Thanos and in his evil forms almost took out the universe)
5. Darkseid (Yup)
6. Dr Doom
7. Brainiac (Brainiac 5 from Legion of Superheroes could also place on this list, except for the fact that he's still young and inexperienced)
8. Reed Richards (Ability to stretch and alter his brain structure further enhances his genius)
9. Lex Luthor (Maybe)
10. Black Panther/ Black Bolt/ Dr Strange/ Ironman/ Mr Terrific (All smart dudes, but haven't really shown much planning genius comparitively)
Yeah, but the concept I'm going for involves him not in Bruce Banner form.
That's a good idea. Well, it leaves out anyone that would plan around there own abilites, but still good.
I've said this before, but I kind of don't like prep-time that degrades to "builds a ...." Naruto has non-material prep alot. Most of the people fight better once they know their opponent. I like your method because this would let this kind of prep be discussed.
Being smart doesn't mean good prep time. If they haven't shown that genius, they should move out of your top 10
How did he accomplish this?
It happenned during Infinate Crisis.
Alex Luther was the star of both Crisis on Infinate worlds and Infinate Crisis, he planned to 'merge' the alternate universes and create a single perfect one, he convinced Superboy Prime and earth 2 superman to join him with promises of there former earths.
He was also
killed by the Joker.
Yeah, but high end prep-time "feats" matter more than low end ones.
Consistancy isn't as important. Mistakes happen or are unavoidable.
I wasn't saying that to say he was weak or dumb or anything, I just thought it was worthy of mention.
1. Thanos (nobody tops Thanos in prep, NOBODY)
2. Adam Warlock
3. Reed Richards
4. Lucifer Morningstar
5. Dr. Doom
6. Lex Luther
9. Dr. Strange
10. Mr. Terrific
1. MacGuyver ( )
2. Lucifer Morningstar
4. Dr. Strange
6. Dr. Doom
7. Reed Richards
8. JLA Batman
10. Lex Luthor
