Unpopular Movies that You Like/Popular Movies that You Dislike

As is the case with any form of entertainment, people have a variety of opinions about movies; some movies are more popular than are others, but even the most unpopular of movies shall have people who like them and even the most popular movies shall have people who dislike them, so this thread is about such movies.

Two unpopular movies of which I am very fond are Batman and Robin and the 1998 Godzilla film; I acknowledge that B&R is definitely the worst film in the Burton/Schumacher series, but I cannot help but enjoy its over-the-top campiness and ridiculous acting. It also helps that I was only ten years old when that movie was released, because I doubt that I would have enjoyed it as much if I had been older when I first saw it (i.e., nostalgia is a factor). The 1998 Godzilla is not a masterpiece by any standards, but it certainly was not a complete disaster, either, and, no matter what anyone says, I liked the design of the titular creature, because it was much more sleek and agile than the slow and lumbering Godzilla who has been seen in every other film (although him being defeated so easily was definitely a very bad thing).

On the other side, I watched The Big Lebowski for the first time several years ago, having heard many people say positive things about it, and I did enjoy it, but I honestly felt that it was nothing spectacular. The same is true for Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs, the only two Quentin Tarantino films that I have seen; the witty dialogue and interactions between the characters were great, but the plots felt too thin and the violence was rather excessive at times.

What does everyone else have to say about this subject? What are some unpopular films that you like or popular films that you dislike?

I like Wild Wild West and the Inspector Gadget movie with Matthew Broderick. Actually I like most movies that released from 1997-1999 especially the live action remakes or reboots.

A certain somebody here thinks Rocky V was better than Rocky IV though.

I enjoyed myself when I watched John Carter and Jumper despite their reviews

I liked the concepts in them, some aspects of those films could have used more work but I thought they weren't as bad as people made 'em out to be

Jumper wasn’t bad. But I think it could have been great. So I also look back at that movie has a real disappointment.

Maybe not hated, but not especially liked either. But "The Wolverine" and "Dark City" are liked and "Panic Room" is at least considered to be OK.

I had a co-worker who thought that the prequels were better than the original trilogy.

I mean shit, even though I'd still question your tastes if you favor the prequels over the new series of films, I can at least understand and respect the reasoning behind these opinions- even if I don't agree with them. But the original trilogy? I can't even imagine that.

Then again, I do remember preferring "Rocky 5" over "Rocky 4", so...

I rather loved Push and Jupiter Ascending and remain upset they never got follow-ups. I unironically like the prequels (particularly Revenge of the Sith) and The Last Jedi.

And everyone fuckin' loved Logan, but I was entirely unimpressed.

I thought the movie was just kind of mediocre, but I always felt the killing Zod controversy was always misplaced.

My issue was Superman getting over it in like 5 seconds and making out with Louis Lane in the midst of all of the carnage and rubble at the end. I think it would've been more profound if Superman surveys all of the destruction and swears he will never let any of this happen again, which would probably have negated the whole 'Supes never kills' and the 'collateral damage' controversies, as the movie would've made them part of his character arc.

But nope, him getting the girl was apparently more important.
