In general terms, I like the class in itself. They seem to be a mirror version of A but with a lot less exposure but they seem to also have their groups, their friendships, rivalries, etc. There are a lot of interesting characters in there but sadly they almost see no exposure beyond TetsuTetsu, Monoma and Kendo.
Monoma and Kendo
kendo and steel dude are pretty cool but even they're thoroughly background tier
I enjoy them for their collective inferiority complex. Bakugo should have been in this class.
Monoma is Nice Guy tier; dude's entire existence revolves around his envy of class Chad-1A, who is everything he wishes he could be.
a lot of untapped potential with that character.
and Monoma's salt
He’d make a heck of a teacher for Class 1-B as a pro hero if he could learn to gain a work ethic and get over some of his inferiority complex.
Monoma is absolute banter and with an OP skill.
Monoma is such a petty saltlord without even being actually toxic about it. His expressions are hilarious and when Kendou cuts him down to size by slapping his sorry ass around it's just the best.
Monoma & Kendo. Vlad is kind of cool.
TetsuTetsu's bromance with Kirishima
You know I have to rep my boy Monoma. I've always liked characters with copy abilities and his personality of being a dick with some underlying insecurity/inferiority complex (likely due to his quirk making him useless in combat on his own which is why he's so insistent on propping up his class) gives him some more nuance. Plus he's genuinely one of the smartest students. Shame he's been relegated to comic relief for now but if we do get to see the joint classes he should get more panel-time.
Tetsux4 is cool and I love his bromance with Kiri. Kendou fits the class mom role well.
And I like the designs of most of them too.
