A 3AM thread for me, a different time for you. Anyhow, I thought it'd be interesting to hear other people articulate their personal views on what constitutes happiness to them. But why not, instead of simply just stating what makes you happy, elated, etc, use this thread to bloviate about the "why" of your happiness. I'll start: Happiness is what I feel whenever I come home from college for breaks and whatnot, and am greeted at the front door by my Labrador & twin Corgis. There is almost nothing better to me than to be bludgeoned by a wagging tail of a friend (Humans need an expression to approximate the wagging of a tail in my opinion--a smile just doesn't quite match up). Why am I happy? As Catullus said: "Happiness is a warm puppy."
