Well I've always used bittorent and havn't had problems with it. I;m always done downloadng in about 30 minutes or so. maybe it depends on your connection speed or perhaps on how much you share. if you read at the bottom it says that your download rate is proportional to your upload rate. turning into a superseed always boosts me up about 20 kbps.

Bittorrent is the best for me. Although Soulseek (P2P) is better for music.

Bittorent is gokd for anime etc IRC is great when you can find bots with fast speeds and you don'thave to wait in a queue for ages to get a file. This is where bitorrent rules there is no queue, you share. Thats in a way it is better than p2p programmes (Ares etc) ..but we all know p2p rules on getting music.

Bittorrent is great for large files, no matter what they are, since people always leave in the middle of large file transfers.
P2P is good for either rare files, music, or rare videos, if IRC doesn't have any and BT has dead torrents.
IRC is good for manga, new music, and single to multiple anime or video files, as long as the files aren't more than around 350 MB. After that, BT is better.

I use bittorrent for everything. Instead of downloading individual, mislabeled tracks, you can get whole albums! How about that?
