    I for one and amazed by his work. Ragas Palaf Kafi is one of the best avant-garde songs I've ever heard. It's deffinatly opened up my eyes to Asian/Indian music.

    mate, Ravi shankar's entire discogrpahy is marvellous. I intend to pimp him in my world music series in the near future =]

    I highly reccomend checking out his work with minimalist pioneer Philip Glass (Passages) and all his solo work (Three Ragas, Indias Master Musician, Ragas & Talas, Portrait Of A genius, Chants of India, Homage To Mahtama Ghandi) just to name a few
