He better not.
He will suffer the same fate as u6 and u11 characters - fade into irrelevance
Does Kale count?
Well there's always the upcoming arc that'll be based on the movie. He should show up in that
Its unknown nothing guarantees he'll live or die in the movie
If Broly's motivation is destruction, like in movie eight, Goku has to kill him.
If his character is interesting enough for us to care about him. I’ll say this Broly could possibly become an ally of Goku in the end.
I don't see Goku doing that. It will be someone else if Broly is killed.
and he will use Piccolo as his green punching bag
Goku actually tried to kill Broly in move eight. Putting a rock of fingers in his liver. As a matter of fact it was destined for him to do so. That's what the whole being born on the same day and baby Goku making baby Broli cry next to him was all about.
That green punching bag will then put a hole through him with the Special Beam Cannon.
Post-ToP Big Green > Dyspo
That means he is stronger than Gohan. You know what is happening.
He will be dead end of discussion.
If Bio Broly couldn't finish his career he's gonna be around longer than Keef Richards.
He is a Saiyan so he might last a bit longer, but he ain't Goku or Vegeta so he isn't going to remain relevant even if he does stick around.
Vegeta will have serious competition for gokus attention if broly joins the group.
Who else is going to star in the new broly trilogy?
Probably not. Unless they do another tournament and bring him back like they did Frieza
If he helps toriyama make more money yes.
Nah vegeta is more relevant than broly
I remember when people thought hit was Goku's new rival and now he is no match for Vegeta
If he stays he is going to be one of the good guys which will make him weak eventually
He is strong because of his villain privileges
Broly is like Pride, Broly never dies forever.
Considering that they're all about that merchandising opportunity, it would be stupid not to keep him around for future material.
And he tanks it for lulz and punts big green into orbit
Toriyama obviously didn't just canonize Broly in order to kill him off in one go.
Both Toriyama and TOEI are aware of just how big of a cash cow Broly is, so now that he's actually part of the main story you better be sure they'll milk him to death.
While I myself am not a Broly fan, most of the fandom drools over him so I expect him to take the Frieza route and stick around while occasionally taking part in the story as an anti-hero of sorts.
Also, if this new Broly will be an actual improvement over the old one and the feedback will be positive (which will definitely be) you better be sure that he'll become a frequent demand just like Hit, Black etc.
"Broly will stick around and be one of the bois?"
"Broly will play the freeza role?"
If Broly is not his sadistic, destruction whoring devilish self, he will be ruined. You will be taking away that epic unstoppable presence which always called for an attempt on Broly's life.
If Broly doesn't die or ride a TOEI land nakama tri beam out for future battle death arcs there will be problems.
He'll be around as long as he makes Toei money
