Luffy was separated from the rest of his crew by a storm, but they suddenly reappeared with no explanation as to what happened to them after the storm or how they arrived where they were, which I feel is a major missed opportunity by Oda, so I do hope that he does eventually reveal what happened to them after the storm and how they met up with Luffy, again.

What does everyone else say about this? Will Oda eventually reveal what happened to the rest of the Strawhat crew before the reunion?

There is no need, we were told what happened.

I am sorry that I need to ask, but on what page?

Also, it is better to show rather than to tell.

They have had plenty of focus (or Luffy has, at least), so I would like to see other characters be given focus; actually, Zoro has not been central to the story in quite some time, so I really hope that he has significant focus in this arc.

Interested to see where Usopp's story is going, is he also trying to get an audience with Orochi?

I remember that opening chapter to Wano showing what all the Strawhats had been up to under their new aliases. Genius opening to an arc. They most likely all serving a role in the plan to overthrow Orochi. Speaking of that chapter, what if the lady wearing the mask playing the instrument in the opening and ending of the Wano introduction is a character that will show up later?

They hardly do anything when not in Luffy's presence anyway. Seems to me that only Luffy runs into important characters

That is evidence of poor writing by the author, and I expect more than that from Oda.

It seems like they all basically just did nothing with their time in Wano

That is actually a filler episode that I would not mind watching.

the question is: why do you think something happened to them? there is a bunch of ways to infiltrate Wano without any alarm and "other SHs" are clever enough to do it right . You should try hard like Luffy or Zoro to find some obstacles

Because it is lazy storytelling to not give a detailed account of their journey to meet with the others; the readers will naturally want to know what happened to them, and it also implies that only Luffy is of sufficient importance or sufficiently special to have his own solo adventure.

well, I'm ok with them simply catching up to Luffu without any events. it's realistic
but anime can add some filler to their journey

and I think some flashback of what happened to them would be a waist of chapter's pages. They will have their time to shine when the time comes
