Hey, nobody is saying the airport fight wasn't entertaining.

Just that it was a campy pointless clusterfuck that ultimately served no purpose and could have been left out. :noworries

No they went to see Spider-Man team up with Ironman to fight Captain America's team.

No airport scene means no Spider-Man cameo

I'd argue the crossbones act serve no real purpose either. I mean the accords wasn't really focus on much after that first act.

Well good thing you're not a director cause that will go down as the most memorable part of the movie.:lmao

Not only did it capture the true essence of what comic book battles are like, but it actually did serve the purpose of adding to the rift between the heroes. It was at that point that the line between the heroes were crossed.

If only including pointless scenes was the essence of being a director. :lmao

A good director includes scenes that actually serve a purpose, not pointless clusterfuck fights for fanboys to wank over.

If you were directing you'd include 10 minutes of the Avengers debating who's the strongest on the team like OBD geeks. :bookerskully

The airport battle at the end of wonder woman is universally panned and regarded as the absolute worst part of the movie. It is clearly the part studio executives had to give Zack Snyder so he'd leave the rest of the movie alone, (a metaphor perhaps best expressed in that themyscirian barrier, that keeps all the color and light on side, and the dreariness and zack snyderiness on the other)

Yeah the final battle was trash.

Just be grateful it didn't involve a beam of light shooting to the sky.

Uhmmm. Maybe by DC standards this was a good film but otherwise this was actually pretty garbage.
It looks like 3 different films. The acting was pretty shady other then Pine.

Her leading the team has always made sense. She's a master combatant & strategist.

Problem is no writer writes her with a shred of brains.

not really, formulating strategies isn't nearly as integral to Diana's character as it is for Batman's

there's more to leadership than just knowing how to fight, the ability to inspire your peers and make them want to follow you whether they agree with your position or not is crutial, hence why Superman's inhate charisma and interpersonal skills gave him that position for the longest time

if it ever happens for Diana it'd have to be a slow build, not just out of the blue

It wouldn't be out of the blue.

Diana's original conception was that she was as good as the guys (pretty much a Mary Stu like Superman in the early days).

And her more modern powers has her blessed by Athena.

Of course however DC writes her like a barbarian (despite the fact she's suppose to be the most compassionate) with no brains. So, she's not the strongest on the league, nor the smartest. Just an annoying feminist who swings her sword like an idiot. Worst yet now they are gradually moving away from her clay origin so now she's some man's seed like any other.

I love WW, but until they start writing her as she's suppose to be written, she's useless.

    ???

Mary Sue is a self-insert who's always in the right, one dimensional, and everybody worships the ground they walk on, or at least admire.

Wonder Woman and Superman were one dimensional back in the day. That's it.

No Huey, actors tend to only get a small portion from profit. Most of their money comes from a base salary that's set when signing to a movie. Remember the story about how everyone in the MCU were only making a fraction of RDJ's salary?

Anyway, my post was referencing the fact that she has lawyers strong arming executives to renegotiate her deal. I think she has a stronger case now that her film turned out the most successful and not the one that was painted on the side of airplanes. :lmao
