    They're all great, nice music and animation...but for some reason I just really like 3. 5 is pretty awesome too though.

    OP #5 for me. It's one of the best anime OP. The song is awesome, animation is awesome, and of course a Takasugi arc = win.

    For me it's the Opening 5 that's for sure, because of the animation of the
    fighting parts and the song is really good to listen too.

    It used to be OP2 because I liked the song a lot, but nothing beats the new OP5. Terrific animation + Does = win smile-big

    (eh, the video for OP5 is no longer available, but I have it stored on my laptop, hehee)

    The special OP put together for episode 62 XD

    Well, it's hard not to be seduced by the amazing animation sequences in OP 5. Not to mention the fact that I'm a big DOES fan, in general. So, I think that particular opening is going to land my vote.

    Plus, truly serious and violent Gintama is like the thin, delicate icing on the rest of the show's comedy cake. X3

    I find it hard to believe that there are many DOES fans since they are not as popular as, say, Asian Kung Fu Generation or even UVERworld, but even so...

    Opening 5. The song is great and I loved Shura so it makes complete sense I'd love Donten. I actually loved that for the first time in a long time, a great song got great animation to accompany it (too bad the Pierrot guys did not learn that from Sunrise... yes I'm referring to After Dark).

    Then I'd say, 3,4, 1 and then 2 in that order.

    You have to give credit for DOES for being the only band that had a song featured as an ED to be featured later as a full-length OP. ^^

    you mean redballoon, but it's not what I meant. It's like saying the same for YUI who did both ED5 and OP5 of Bleach.

    I meant that SHURA was an ending until episode 62, which in it was featured as an OP, but the full version of that song. 3:30 of DOES goodness!

    My favourite Opening is Opening 1. Of the 5 Openings is which describes better the Gintama essence with mix of serious Gintama, funny Gintama, lulz, awesomeness, flashbacks of Gin-san, and Sadaharu :awesome

    I love OP 1 ("Pray") - it's part of what got me hooked on Gintama to start with.

    What I really like about Gintama's OPs is their relative continuity - the first thirty seconds or so of each OP, if put together in order, almost tell a mini-story (the Yorozuya head out, they're on the highway, they get to the beach, they come back and are caught in a storm). It's got a uniform identity - you can tell just thirty seconds in that THIS IS GINTAMA!! :D

    'Donten', opening five, definitley. I like how it represents Gintama's serious side, and it fits in well with the whole Shinsengumi Discord arc. I like the whole sequence, too. Not just the characters flashing about with bright colored backgrounds.
